Yes It's that time Again, when Downside Common comes to life and Sports day takes over.! This Year is our 100th on August Bank

Holiday Monday.

We have Lots for you to do this Year with the Theme Of 'Circus', we have a Fancy Dress competition, open to all, Wacky the Wizard will be entertaining the Children, a Novelty Dog Show at 2.00pm, Birds of Prey Display on at 1.00pm and 4.15pm, our normal 'Welly Throwing' and 'Toss the Hay Bale' Competitions, Tae Kwon Do Demonstration, 100 years Celebration and let's not forget the 'Tug Of War'. Morning Races start at about 10.30am and Afternoon Races Start at 2.30pm, Food and Drinks are available all day and with 'Curcus Surprises' around the Common throughout the day there will be Plenty to keep you interested with over 30 stalls and Kids Fun fare rides.
